Making money on TikTok isn’t as hard as you think.

In fact, it’s quite easy once you have the right followers and know where to look for affiliate programs.

Some people might tell you that you need tens of thousands or even millions of followers before you can start making any real money.

That’s simply not true.

You can start making affiliate commissions with just a few hundred followers if your target audience is there.

My recommendation is to find high-ticket affiliate programs to promote. This way, your commissions will be larger even if you don’t have a ton of followers.

Once you find a good program to work with, it’s time to start making some money.

Here are three strategies that I’ve used in the past six months to make over $10,000 in affiliate commissions:

Strategy #1 - Create Videos Around Challenges and Trends

Participate in challenges and trends inside TikTok to get your content in front of more people.

For example, the “Dinner Table Challenge” was a huge trend a few months ago. All you needed to do was make a video about how to make healthy meals for the whole family on a budget.

Not only can you get tens of thousands of views, but you can also receive commissions from different affiliate programs that you promote in the description.

You don’t have to do challenges to take advantage of trends, but it can be a great way to get more eyes on your content.

Just look at what’s popular right now and come up with creative ways to tie your affiliate products into those topics.

Strategy #2 - Diversify Your Hashtags to Attract More Potential Customers

Take control of the hashtags you use and bring your target audience to you.

This is one of the single most important metrics that can be used to place your content in front of your audience.

For example, if you’re promoting a weight loss program, use hashtags like #weightlossjourney #fitnessmotivation #transformationtuesday.

You can also use general hashtags that are popular on TikTok like #funnyvideos or #dailyvlogs to get more exposure.

The more people who see your videos, the more likely you are to make a sale.

Strategy #3 - Use Powerful Calls-To-Actions

When someone watches one of your videos, give them a clear next step to take action.

This could be something as simple as “tap the link in my bio for more information” or “subscribe to my channel for more content like this.”

If you make it easy for people to take the next step, they’re much more likely to do it.

Strategy #4 - Post During "Magic Hours"

You should be sharing content at least twice per day.

Doing so will give you insights into when your videos are being viewed.

Post videos during the day that will optimize the reach and get the most exposure.

For example, if you’re targeting people who are working a nine to five job, post your videos during the morning and lunch hour.

Then, post more content in the evening when people are winding down for the day.

This will help you get in front of as many viewers as possible.

Strategy #5 - Model Your Competitors

Follow and engage with your competitor's content. See what they are posting and model what is working on their channel.

Not only will this help you better understand what is working in your niche, but you can also get ideas for new content to produce.

Just be sure to add your own unique twist so that it’s not a carbon copy.

Strategy #6 - Batch Video Creation

When creating videos for TikTok, it's highly recommended to batch your video creation.

This means that you'll create a number of videos at once and then release them over a period of time.

Not only does this help with organization, but it also gives your viewers something to look forward to.

Plus, by batching your videos, you can spend more time on each individual video and make sure that they are high quality.

Conclusion

Making money on TikTok doesn’t have to be hard.

If you follow the right strategies and put in the work, you can start seeing results fairly quickly.
